For those of you who haven't had the pleasure, I give you the Lamington. Sponge cake filled with raspberry sauce, dipped in delectable chocolate and covered in coconut. I've been obsessed since I had one made by Bellingham's Community Food Co-op, and I see no need to get them anywhere else. Pure perfection.
Yep, exactly what it says. This was a fun experiment, and a true test of patience. After dozens of balloons filled, tied and hung with fishing line in my shower, I finally got this!
Product photography...next time I'll include the bottle!
Street photography can be so much fun! I love the moment captured, and her smile. I'm still debating whether she was on to me or smiling at her phone!
This was from a recent trip to New Orleans. I was trying to make the best of the harsh mid-day sun.
Taken at my local food co-op!
I laugh every time I look at this image. That's the point of art- to make you feel something. This shot definitely does that for me!
Another photographic cliche, but I love the mood of this image. Light trails can be super fun to shoot. I like this one because it reminds me of a single red brush stroke across a dark canvas.
Another from the New Orleans trip.
I was already super happy with this bird in flight (I had honestly been trying to capture it sitting on the sculpture) but then it became an album cover for my talented friend Mike.
